Students at the university have their own student
body. The Student Council leaders are democratically elected once a
year. The Student Council is represented by its chairman at the
University Senate.
In 1995, the Alumni Office was established with a
view to maintaining contact with the university's graduates, helping
them to allocate their work preferences, and follow their post-graduate
studies in local, Arab and foreign universities, and to invest this
feedback in developing the university's study programmes.
In 2001,
the university opened the Graduates' Club (GC) on its campus after
having officially registered it with the competent authorities in the
country. The GC elects its Managing Board, and serves the interests of
more than 4,000 graduates. |
